Boone County Raceway is excited to announce another great special added to this year's schedule with the Doc Palmer Memorial. This night will honor Doc Palmer, who was a long-time sponsor of local drivers and always supported the race track by attending weekly shows until he passed late last year at the age of 102. Another special we are proud to announce at Boone County Raceway is the Alan Rasmussen Tribute Retro Night to be held on June 25!! We will honor Alan Rasmussen, long time driver and supporter of Boone County Raceway, who passed away late last year. Alan has competed in a number of divisions over the years including most recently the Midwest Classic Stock Car Association. All classes will have increased purse including the MCSA and GOTRA. Fans and Drivers! We Invite you to our crown jewel event for 2021 in the Tanner Pelster Memorial featuring Malvern Bank Super Late Models, IMCA Stock Cars, and IMCA Hobby Stocks. This night will be in memory of Albion native and competitor Tanner Pelster who tragically passed away earlier this year. This night will also be a part of the Boone County Fair Races.
